Gilbride narrowly fails to make cut

Club Champion Andy Gilbride narrowly failed to make the cut for this year’s Maulesbank tournament after shooting nett 75s in both qualifying rounds over the Buddon and Championship courses. One or two minor errors saw Gilbride drop 7 shots over the final four holes of the Championship, putting paid to his chances of qualifying. Andy however, now goes forward into the 1st round of the Consolation Cup which tees-off today over the Championship.

‘Tassie’ tees off tomorrow

Qualifying Round 1 tomorrow

Newly crowned Club Champion Andy Gilbride tees-off tomorrow at 9.07 0ver the Buddon Course in the 1st round of the annual Craws Nest Tassie tournament. The Station Masters GC representative will play his second qualifying round over the Championship course on Tuesday. All qualifiers then enter into a Matchplay draw for either the Craws Nest Tassie or the Maulesbank competitions. We wish the best of luck to Andy for the tournament!
