The Station Masters GC annual texas scramble took place over the Buddon last week in surprisingly good weather conditions. 10 teams took the opportunity to blow away the Christmas cobwebs with a game of golf, then back to the Station for lunch, comprising peh, chips and beans followed by darts and dominoes.
The Texas Scramble was won by Team Morton – David, Connor, Charlie and Cairn on 55.15 points, with Team Gilbride – Andy, Bobby, Ali and Eddie runners-up on 56.25 points. Longest drive – Alex King. Nearest the pin – David Morton.
Dave Stewart and Garry Fraser eventually won the Darts and Pete Coutie and his side-kick Stan Shepherd took the Bones title.
A great day was had by all. Many thanks to the Station Hotel for lunch!
