First outing of the 2016 Season over the Buddon

The usual bunch of dedicated, hardy souls took to the greensward on Sunday for our first Station Masters GC outing of the season. In a closely fought competition the Captain’s team (overseen on the day by Nor Reid) narrowly overcame the Vice Captain’s team, led by Peter Coutie. Dave Rutherford finished 3rd, with aforementioned Nor Reid finishing 2nd. Masters Champion and winner of the prestigious yellow jacket for the third time was the popular Alan Clark. Nearest the pin was Brian Morton and Garry Clark recorded the longest drive. Players retired to the Station Hotel after the match for traditional liquid refreshments and delicious meal.
