Latest ‘Good Causes Gig’ raises £800 for Carnoustie Memories

A sell-out crowd of members and friends enjoyed a great night last week at the Station Masters GC latest ‘Goods Causes Gig’ in the Station Hotel where local band Franco kept the dance floor rockin all evening with their fantastic range of music.

The sum of £800 was raised on the evening for Carnoustie Memories, a community-based group managed and led by volunteers for the benefit of people who are living with dementia or memory loss. The group’s key aim is to re-connect members with either their sport of choice or a wide range of music through Golf Memories, Football Action and Singing with Friends. Over the years, the Station Masters has raised over £6000 for local good causes and we were delighted to welcome Carnoustie Memories’ Lorraine Young and Archie Leiper at the Station Hotel to pick up our latest donation.
