Masters duo qualify for Belhaven final

Captain Jim Simpson and Match Secretary Andy Gilbride headed to Montrose Links on Tuesday for the qualifying round of the Belhaven Best Captains and Secretaries 2015 Championship. 40 teams from all over Scotland took to the famous Links in what turned out to be a closely-fought tournament where the top eight teams qualified. Under clear blue, sunny skies, the dynamic duo of Simpson and Gilbride finished their better-ball round with a nett 3 under par 68, securing 4th place for the Station Masters. The final will be played at Cruden Bay in October.
