Flying visit for USPGA professional

Bruce touches base in Carnoustie

Long-standing Masters member, USPGA professional Bruce Wilmott, paid a flying visit to his old stomping ground last week to spend some time with his mum Pat and dad Alex, and catch-up with a few of his former Carnoustie buddies. Despite rumours to the contrary, the get-together organised at HQ by Bruce’s former colleague on the ‘milk’, Rod Soutar,  was a very well-behaved event at which no alcoholic drink whatsoever was consumed! Bruce was brought up in Carnoustie before heading ‘across the pond’ in 1983 where he became the 5th Wilmott to teach golf in the States. He is currently the Head Teaching Pro at McInnis Park Golf Centre in San Rafael, near San Francisco.
